Canacona, South Goa
Set on the edge of a small market town and a short distance from beautiful beaches we have rented a whole villa for our exclusive use. A delightful Portugese colonial style building bursting with charm and character it is full of beautiful verandas and seated areas for us to conduct our workshops. We have designed your experience to be that with nature, where we respect the serenity and life of our natural environment.
The rooms of the villa are all individually decorated in keeping with it's colonial past. They are full of rich inspiring colours, local textiles and are beautifully appointed. All rooms have double beds for single occupancy and twin beds for shared, with private bathrooms. The rooms all open onto shaded verandas from which you can step out into the beautiful garden.
$1,700 per person (shared occupancy)
Price on request for limited single rooms
Note: Please don’t be shy about sharing a room. At our last retreat the majority of attendees shared a room, and the feedback about the villa and rooms was that we couldn’t have picked a more delightful venue.
Our retreat will provide a tranquil space. This charming location will enable you to unwind and relax allowing you to refocus your energy on your passion, photography. Enjoy the comfy communal sit-outs that are curtained by swathes of fruit trees, whilst being surrounded by butterflies and floral scents, or relax in a hammock with a book and a glass of ginger tea.
Our retreat will provide a hearty breakfast so you are ready for the days learning ahead. We will break for a light lunch around the large farmhouse style dining table. On one day we have scheduled a cooking class so that you will experience the true delights of Goan cuisine whilst honing documentary photography skills. Evening meals will be taken by the beach where Kirsty will introduce us to some of her regional favourites.
Goa is a feast for the senses. Our retreat location is set on the edge of lush jungle but is a tranquil and calm oasis. We will also introduce you to the vibrancy of Indian towns and countryside. We hope that our video will give you a little taster of the delights in store for you.
